As Chief Operating Officer of Epitome Executive Search, Andy looks to bring the necessary structures together to help teams perform at the highest level and foster scalable growth for the firm. Andy joined Epitome in 2021 to team up with his wife, Kristen, to help take the firm to the next level. He brings his leadership and business-building experience at venture-backed start-ups and mid-cap public companies across technology industries.
Prior to joining Epitome, Andy spent 20 years as a global operating executive where he developed a strong strategic orientation and ability to evaluate markets while building a team and scaling operations to foster growth. Most recently, he was Vice President & General Manager of a transformational corporate venture initiative in the connected vehicle marketplace that he founded within Sensata Technologies (NYSE: ST), a $4B leader in transportation and industrial sensors. He built a 200-person cross-functional global team from scratch and scaled the venture to a $100M in run-rate revenue, enabled by organic growth and a platform acquisition that he sourced and sponsored as a thought leader. In recognition of the accomplishment, Andy received the Leadership Excellence Award given by the Sensata CEO to one person every two years out of 20K global employees.
Andy has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University, an M.S. in Management of Technology from New Jersey Institute of Technology and completed an advanced certificate program for banking and finance professionals at New York University.
When he isn’t working or listening to classical music on New York Public Radio’s WQXR, Andy enjoys practicing yoga, running, spending time with friends and family and relaxing on the coast of Maine with Kristen and their daughter.
